Description: Mixture of different phosphorus calcium, white powder, odorless, tasteless, relative density 3.18, difficultly soluble in water, easily soluble in diluted hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, steady in air.
Application:In the food industry, tricalcium phosphate is used as a leavening agent, dough conditioner, buffer, texture enhancer, curing agent, nutrient supplement, and chelating agent. It is used as a leavening agent in baked goods and pastries, and as a fermentation aid and buffer in bread and biscuits. It also acts as a pectin gelling agent (to promote gel formation), a nutrient source for yeast, and a texture improver in meat products. In brewing, it can enhance saccharification (the breakdown of starch into sugar) and increase fermentation efficiency.
Certificate: Halal, kosher
